This is a three-term program that is normally available during winter, spring, and summer breaks where participants between the ages of 5-12 can learn about marine residents and habitats within the Biscayne Bay Aquatic Preserves.
Campers engage in hands-on activities like wading, walking the shoreline, boat & kayak tours (with a safety briefing), scavenger hunts on islands, and field trips to local state parks. Once all three sessions are completed, they graduate as “Junior Bayologist.” We would like to open this up to as many participants as possible while still abiding by CDC guidelines.
